SKC seeks grant proposals with the Oleta Smith Endowment Fund

PABLO — Do you have a project that increases positive community relations on the reservation, but lack financial resources? Well then, check out the Oleta Smith Endowment Fund at Salish Kootenai College.

SKC has announced it is accepting grant applications for the Oleta Smith Endowment Fund.

The late Oleta “Pete” Smith who was a long time human rights activist and environmental advocate endows the fund. Proposals should address activities that promote positive relations among people and focus on the Flathead Indian Reservation area.

Grant applications should not exceed $3,000. Send proposals to: Oleta Smith Endowment, Salish Kootenai College, P.O. Box 70, Pablo, MT. 59855. Closing date for application will be September 30, 2008.
