USK, Wash. — The S & K Veteran Warrior Society Society was invited to the Kalispell Indian Powwow on August 1 - 3, 2008. The group led each grand entry with the flags.

The veterans that attended were Frank Fortney, Dick Reed, Randy Trosper, Dave LaMoose, Gary Adolph, Janelle Underwood, Elden White and Tom Camel. Not to forget the wives who did the cooking and who kept the home fires burning were Heide Reed, Marcella Adolph, and Betty White.

The veterans come from all branches of the military, and it is an organization that supports all veterans. The military training teaches them how to become brothers and protect each other. That tradition is followed through within the group. The Veteran Warrior Society welcomes all military veterans to the group.

The veteran Society has been invited to the blessing of the new veteran cemetery at Fort Missoula on September 11.
