Warriors Felsman and Bridgewater named to State C all tournament team

BILLINGS — A pair of Arlee Warriors hoopsters were named to the 2010 State C all-tournament team. Senior Kyle Felsman and junior Kasey Bridgewater joined eight other players on the all-tourney squad.

The Warriors placed fourth at the tournament held this past weekend at the Billings MetroPark Rimrock Auto Arena. The two players also made the Western C all-tournament team a week prior.

They were among the first Arlee Warriors basketball team to earn a ticket to a State tournament since 1995. The 1994-95 Warriors, coached by present CSKT Councilmen Terry Pitts, placed second at the 1995 State B tournament. The Fairfield Eagles, the preeminent Montana Class B boys’ basketball program for the last 20 years, topped Arlee 58-46 in the championship game.

The 2009-10 Warriors State C tournament team: Kasey Bridgewater, Kyle Felsman, Thomas McClure, Jesse Pfau, Dakota Desjarlais, Jr. Sansavere, Trae Burland, John Sansavere, Beau Couture, Nelson Big Sam, Trevor Rubel and Kody Morigeau.

Clyde Tucker coached the Warriors with assistant Shawn Matt.

Tabitha-Anne Earling and Maria Pablo managed the team.

State C champion Big Sandy’s Corbin Pearson was named the Most Valuable Player of the State C tournament.
