Salish Kootenai College honors trailblazers during Founders Week

PABLO — Salish Kootenai Founders week kicked off by recognizing founders and early years faculty at the Robert DePoe III building.

Founders were (L to R) Alice Oechsli, SKC Academic Vice President Emeritus; Dr. Joseph McDonald, SKC President Emeritus; Dr. Michael “Mickey” O’Donnell, former SKC President Grant Writing with federal programs and Director of the SKC Foundation; Moselle DePriest, former SKC Secretarial Science Instructor; Ginny Therriault, for the late Ron Therriault, first Director of SKC Native American Studies; Dave Marshall, former SKC’s First Science Instructor at the College; Corwin “Corky” Clairmont, retired SKC Campus Coordinator and SKC Native American Arts Department Head; and Jennifer Hurley for the late Pat Hurley, retired SKC Environmental/Forestry Instructor.
